Los Angeles, California (October 2022) – Avante Capital Partners is pleased to announce that our very own, Amanda Kim, has been promoted to Principal of the firm. Amanda joined Avante in 2016 as an Associate and was subsequently promoted to Senior Associate and Vice President. She has made significant contributions to the growth and success of the firm. Amanda has led deal execution and portfolio management including Avante’s recent investment in Genius SIS. Additionally, Amanda has been instrumental in building out the firm’s business development and impact efforts particularly with our women’s initiatives and Small Business Investing Scholars (“SBIS”) diversity internship program. The SBIS program is an 8-week undergraduate summer internship program intended to promote diversity and inclusion within the SBIC industry. Amanda recently shared her story on an episode of McGuire Woods’ Deal Us In podcast, entitled “Why Diversity is Critical to the Future of Investing.” Amanda is a proud mom, wife, singer, Sunday school teacher, and board member of the nonprofit Community Health Councils.
